Heavy loads are handled with the same eco-friendly approach as other junk hauling, but sometimes they require a different pricing method. That pricing is usually best addressed on a case-by-case basis because so many of these materials and items vary greatly.

What kind of items does Sustainable Junk Removal consider to be heavy?

  • Yard waste debris that is densely packed and weighs much more per cubic yard than typical refuse. These loads can often be handled by just two workers, but they fill the weight hauling capacity of the truck before filling the space in the bed. We are not a landscaping company, so we are limited on our ability to haul large amounts of these items. Because of this, the load is considered full when the weight limit is reached.
  • Construction waste, such as drywall and concrete, are dense like a lot of yard waste. Some of these will also require an additional worker or two to move or break apart if they are not already broken into manageable sizes for hauling.
  • Extremely heavy single items, like pianos or automotive engines, will often require extra time or extra workers to remove. As such, they can incur additional fees.
  • All of these items should be considered individually and are not easy to generally price. Please call us to discuss your heavy item removal.
